I believe we have been on the wrong path for sometime. It seem that knowledge is a dangerous or sacrilegious item on the message board.
Those spark plugs you purchased are have four ground legs, which allow a single spark to travel multiple paths.

It is possible that the innovated design may be efficient than conventional single ground spark plugs but does not add performance or burning efficiency nor does improve quality, capability or capacity of the plug but profits to company stockholders. Of course, most claims are marketing gimmicks.

If the core of the spark plug were to be pure platinum you would not be paying $US5.95. The amount of platinum is microscopic and the core remains copper or carbon. On the other hand, manufacture claims to be “four times the amount of pure platinum with electrodes” but there is only one single core with four ground… is it a single or four-electrode spark plug? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Please brake a platinum spark plug and look at the core… is it platinum or what? Again, provide a report on those plugs after a few thousands of miles of use.

Claudio
