OEM Bimmer Parts

slow and taking lots of photos, talking with family members, getting comfortable with the spring compressors...

The second one took about an hour and a half, but most of that was because the retaining collar holding the shock insert in the strut tube was very difficult to unscrew. If it hadn't been for that, I could've done the one side in about 45 minutes.

Just FYI, but the rear shocks were MUCH easier and faster to install. The springs are smaller and easier to handle and there's far less to disassemble (e.g., you don't have to remove the brake caliper and rotor and there's no retaining collar to contend with).
