from the panel once the fabric is removed I used a standard wire brush. Sweep from the middle to the outside moving from the rear to the front. Then swipe from the centre to the other outside and it cleans 25cm swaths with each swipe and little foam residue left over. Work it in the details like the recesses for the 'oh crap handles' then use it lengthwise on the ends and for the sunroof opening. Took all of 5 minutes to clean the entire panel.
Clean the wire brush afterwards by rubbing on old carpeting.
