Subject: My first writeup, ANGEL EYES!

Alright heres my first write up so here goes... I missed about half of the steps but this should be enough to get idea of how to do the Angel Eyes.

I got my set from LBHenry and this is what they looked like:

Dismantle your headlights (read the other guides for that) and decide where to put your Angel Eyes. I chose to put mine on the outside and glued them onto the the lenses with JB Weld.

Make sure to fit everything first and have all the wires pulled out before you glue the rings in place, they are a tight fit and you might not be able to remove the lenses easily if needed. I pulled the wires out over the plastic lenses at the top.

Route the white wires inside and tape them down with some electrical tape so they dont move around. My ballast (the black box) is tucked in right behind the low beam bulb, it fits in horizontally right at the bottom.

After you have the lights back together and in the car again, you need to handle the pair of wires on either end. One wire is negative and needs to be gounded to the metal of the car, and there are well placed bolts on the fender just for this purpose. My wires reached, if yours dont just splice in some extra wire to reach the bolt.

The gray wires are the positive. I wanted mine to be on all the time even when all the other lights are off so I wired it up to the DRL circuit in the junction box. Wire the two gray positive wirese together with some wire. Then take the the passenger side end of the wire and splice it again with some more wire to run up to the junction box.

Now the best way would be to get a wire connector (RadioShack) and connect the wire from the lights to the red wire, but I'm ghetto so I just shoved the wire into the connector. Whatever works...

Now your lights should come on as soon as you *turn* the key.
NOTE* You do not need Daytime Running Lights to be activated for your car for this to work, as long as you have that wire, there should be power in there to tap into.

The lights also stay on for about 10 secs after locking the car, then go out automatically.

Hope this helps!

-Mani
