yeah...it is MK2, i did try to update the OS version to v22, I turn the key to position 2, insert the CD, but nothing happens, it doesnt even sound like the cd is spinning up, so it looks like that option is out.

I'll try to look into the TSB as you said, but its not going to be quick. The dealer here in NYC makes you wait a month for an appointment for diagnostics.....and at the cost it takes to diagnose...maybe a better option would be to get a MK3 computer from ebay (~$300)

What u guys think? i heard its just a simple plug and play job.
