Dear DFW7 members & friends,

We have very exciting news for you regarding our upcoming 2/2/08 meet at Euro Connections. So much will happen on a single day. Read below for summary of the goodies (YES, we will have door prizes!).

- First and foremost, the founder and proprietor of e38.org and BimmerBoard.com, David Cecil (aka DavidC), will be joining us from Lexington, KY, along with JoeC, another veteran BB member from Dayton, OH. Yes, the very person that has made it possible for us 7 Series owners to save so much money and gain knowledge is coming to visit us.

- Martin, owner of BimmerNav and frequent expert contributor on the BimmerBoard Navigation A/V Forum will be present. As past meet participants know, Martin is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to BMW electronics; he has offered his service & knowledge for free to many that attended past meets. Check out his site and get a feel for what he knows and what can be done to your BMW.

- Edwin, a super DIYer will be flying all the way from Amsterdam, Netherland to assist anyone that has the need for his service, including but not limited to Coding/fixing/updating DME, etc. TXDarth and I have purchased two of "Edwin's Specials" $50 packages; we are donating them to two lucky raffle winners on Feb 2nd. It would cost you a lot more money to have a dealer perform the services that Edwin is offering, see link http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/453051/

- Brodie White, a member of Magic-Touch, Inc. and a DFW7 will be present to demo their products. Depending on type of work, one or two lucky member may be selected for free or discounted repair. Brodie is the person BMW of Dallas calls for bumper works. He also does interior upholstery refinish. I have received numerous inquiries regarding car leather seats, so come by and talk to Brodie on Feb 2nd.

- Euro Connection, lets not forget the most friendly indy shop to DFW7. This is the 4th time that Euro Connection has opened up its facility to us. 3 ~ 4 lifts will be made available for DIY projects from 9 AM ~ 1 PM. Bring your own tools and parts (or you can order the parts in advance from Nino, owner of Euro Connection). Lift time is $10 per hour, tentatively there is a 2 hour maximum per member, additional time base on availability. Due to space & time constraints, 7 Series will receive priority for lift time and other functions. This is your chance to fix your own car, with free advice from our own knowledgeable members and Nino will offer advice whenever available. Nino is donating all proceeds to Bimmerboard, too!

- Multiple events that will last from Friday 2/1 through Sunday 2/3 with our out of town VIPs.

Last but not least, our usual lunch, this includes a group drive to nearby restaurant, usually Bone Daddy's or Hooters.

Special thanks to Michael (Lurcher,) Roger (TXDarth) and many more.

JL - DFW7

Update from DavidC:
I come bearing gifts! Actually, terrific door prizes from GlossHaus, OEMBimmerParts.com and the BMW CCA -- special thanks to them for supporting our activities! I'm also bringing a pile of BimmerBoard window stickers and a large bottle of Windex!
