Oh, it's a project with a capital P!!
The engine is dead. The steering is broken, the interior is pretty much stripped, it is missing the two hatches and the driver's door (Right hand drive), the tires are dated 1942 and, as you can see, done like dinner. But of all the unrestored trucks I looked at it is rust free and all the important bits are there... except the doghouse.
There were 12,000 of the HU version made in Canada with another 10,000 made in Australia. There were 900,000 CMP's built in both countries so parts are neither rare nor expensive... yet!
It comes with a running engine and spare tranny but I am only going to install it for the Vintige regy/plates then install an EFI engine with a NP435 transmission and NP205 transfer case (I have a Ford donor 4x4). Chevy purists may cringe but there is no inline EFI GM lump I am aware of. I am guessing two years to get it fully operational... so probably 4!
