This is for installation in a 740IL with Nav (This was done on a 1998 (01/98) 740IL with a factory MK2 Nav system that was upgraded to MK4 with widescreen) Note: TV modules from MK1 systems will not work along with Nav MK2, MK3, and MK4 systems.

1st www.bimmernav.com shows how to splice in the Connecting Lead and install TV module.

2nd To install TV amplifiers and fish through antenna leads, the back seats, C-pillar panels, back shelf, and speaker shelf box needs to be removed. Follow these instructions for (Rear Shade repair) up to the point of after removing the black speaker shelf box:

Antenna Leads that attach to the TV module and fished up to the TV amplifiers:


Where the TV amplifiers get installed at and connected to is at the airiel antenna blocks on each side of the C-pillar's.
There is 2 holes each where the amplifiers need to be installed,

1 is for the sheet metal screw and the other is for placement where the notch on the TV amplifier goes: Left side (drivers)



Right side Amplifier (passenger)

Note: Sorry I did not get many pictures of the installation as it was to cold and did not have my camera near me at the time!

Now I need the TV on Nav adapter so my passengers can watch TV while the car is moving!
