I replaced both engine and transmission mountings today. I had never realised how bad they actually were, it's solved my driveline shudder.

The best part is I can't beleive how increadibly smooth the engine feels with the new ones, it's a different car alltogether. Well worth it!

One small thing the engine mountings have two studs sticking out the bottom, and on the left engine mount the smaller one snapped off when I was fitting it(I didn't overtighten at all) Will this cause a problem? Why does it have two studs anyway?

Here's the Auto trans mountings old and new. The transmission is so heavy it had squashed them to half size.
