Would first inspect that one for dry soldering joints.Resolder it, for you no problem. See the special points to look for I ince posted.
If you need a used spare IHKA module, I think I still have 2 or 3 on stock. But probably you can get one in the U.S. for the price I would have to pay for shipping from Japan.
Could send it out with the light fader unit to you.

And clean all temperature sensors in the system.
Another point would be the small temp sensor behind the control panel. In Germany someone always had probs that suddenly the temp changed. He finally found out that it was this small temp sensor which was defective. Cost him 2-3 $ only as replacement.
