Dont you just love kids on bikes?!?!?!?

So here is what happened to me and my baby.
Thanks to RobinK for the inspiration to do this.



Cleaned the area with brake cleaner to get all the wax and junk off.
Filled the scratches up with the touch up paint from BMW.



I then used 3000 grid waterproof sandpaper and got to it.
I know It's hard to believe that your sanding your paint (ouch)
Used a pencil with a easaser to stick the paper on.



After first sanding:



2ND:



3RD:



Almost done:



Then it was smooth and all extra paint was gone.
Used the buffer and cleaner to get the shine back and finished with a wax coat.

Can you see were it was?
