Subject: Re: Fuel is not coming out the vacuum line is it?

I disconnected the return fuel line from the bottom of the fuel regulator to see if fuel pressure was on the fuel rail. Ignition switch ON... and no fuel came out... Crank the engine ( and vaccumn pulled on the regulator) and fuel came out.

If you disconnect the the vacummn line from the regulator.. and crank... no fuel came out... telling me the regulator is doing it's job? right?

I will try to suck some fuel into the intake manifold and see if she starts... That will tell me that DME is in trouble?

I did put a test spark plug on number two spark plug lead.. and it sparked. Would this have happened if DME was bad?

When I replaced the cylinder head.. I did have to reinstall the position sensor and spark plug monitoring sensor... they appeared ok...
Is there an easy way to test them...

Any suggestions on why my Code Monitoring tool could not establish communication with the DME? I thought these DMEs were fairly robust and did not die that easily...

Thanks for the help...
Clark
