Natalie & I really enjoyed it. Great to see all those E38s lined up, see what the latest little tweaks are on everyone's car, trade stories, and get the latest high mileage report from Turkeybird (for anyone counting, his 95 has 260K miles, still on the original transmission - the car in the pics is his 00 with 80-90K or so). Seeing Jeremy's highline was great - a near twin of my car! Now we've got 3 midnight blue highlines in DFW7s.

70-90mph on the track is enough to have fun, particularly when you get up on the banking, and on the transitions from the turns to the straights.

They have a police officer peek in each car and chat with the driver just before you drive from the infield to the pit lane area - his job? Looking for beer. I get a chuckle out of that one. I'd like to hear the story as to why they now have a cop doing that.
