I also changed out the glove box shock, the back one that opens the glove box and extends it outwards. That job sucked. I started to do a write up, but I don't think I would advise anyone else to do what I did. I started to take some pics and then "improvised" to get the damn POS in place.
After I was done, if the owners manual in the leather case was removed, it did what it was supposed to do. Otherwise it was too heavy for the shock. And like hell if I'm going to do that job again!
