door as the switched power, and although I like the DDEs coming on when I alarm/dis-alarm the car, they also come on evertime I just open the door. Basically, everytime you interior lights come on, the DDEs came on. I sometimes get stuff in & out of the car & just didn't want the rings to power up that many times. But, I gotta admit, it is nice to see the DDEs fade off (well, kinda fade off, they don't fade like a regular light bulb does).
