Interesting timing of your response, as I recently retrieved my 2005 after the FOURTH time in the shop (this time they diagnosed a faulty door installation). I got no argument from the dealership when I mentioned l-citrus fruit and hope to be drinking lemonade in a 2007 X3 in short order.
(I'm a bit concerned that I am 5th in the dealership lemon queue - I'm not experienced in these things, but does that strike anyone else as quite a few?) In any case, I asked the dealer to print my full service record, so documentation shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the post.
