Of interest. I have been hunting a new truck since 4th qtr 2006, and waited for the 07 because of the major revisions over the previous series (2002-2006). Things like rack&pinion, DOD, fanless 315 vs 295 hp, 270 degree rear doors, read real windows, total interior change in looks, function and fit 100k warranty. In early 07 and still today there were a lot of left over 06 style which GM called the Silverado Classic. Rebates on those are 4500-5000 today.
