You made a great buy there. Hope it'll run for a long time still. But I know what you mean about the "aged look". But we don't care. It's a classic and it gets noticed when it's clean and you cruise down the street - even if it's getting old.

Can't beat the value for price either. Don't know about what does go for in Finland, but my two 750's haven't broken my bank so far.

For repairs, I have a spreadsheet at home with everything. Even gas. I don't recall the excact figure, but I know with the new 18" and summertires I am getting close to the buying price. I bought this one back in August 06 so it's not a year yet. But most major things are done unless the exhaust fails or some O2-sensors go out. Might have to replace a purge valve, but I am pretty much done except that and an AC refill (luckily R134a).

Maintenance and tires are approx E2000-2200 so far. I think gas is around E1700.

My previous was incredibly reliable. I changed oil and one heater hose , transmission speed sensor and the VCVs for "fun". Never a problem for the entire period of ownership. I love these cars.

GFs 535 we haven't spent much at at all. Ignition tune-up and some minor things which probably runs about E500 (+ E400 in wintertires) since august as well.

'89 750iAL shadowline - just passed 176.000km
'89 535iA - 196.000km
'90 750iAL - sold at 218.000km and has passed away...
