works great in crowd Japan where parking space and streets are very tight.
Some people think it is the flagpole for diplomatic staff, which was available frm the ETK.
There is even a official BMW Japan parts number for that.
I bought a brand new set for someone in Germany who wanted to have it, but He never installed it because the German TUV does nor allow it, they say is can be a danger in case of an accident for pedestrians, not flexible etc pp.
It is now stored in Germany at Reinhard, the electronic expert, if you want it, it is yours for 80 EURO actual cost plus shipping
