only has the sectional doors in it. All of their pictures are for a sectional door. In fact in their brochure.. it says 'The 3800 difference... for sectional doors only'. I will try to reread your post as I am not sure I understood everything correctly.. but I hope that everything will work fine for sectionals. The 3800 arrives today and gets installed on Tuesday.
