it will not push down fully onto the hub and you will not have a working horn. Or is seller telling you it is from an E23? AFAIK BMW did not make an M-Tech style for the E23. Correct me if I'm talkin' rubbish.

BMW made some sport wheels specifically for the E23 hub and splines.
