hubs from MOMO so they can give you the info on compatibility.

thru 1986 Hub 0157 (this is a coarse splined hub, but different than the hub for the E28 or E24)

87 on uses hub 2006 which is the same hub as the fine spline E28 and E24

So the later E23 steering wheel will fit a bunch of cars or has a bunch of cars as donors.

The earlier e23 (to 9/85 production) uses the same splines as the E12, E3 and E21, as they all use the 0157 hub. This is the list of donor cars that FIT. As Eric said others may fit, the coarse spline wheels but the fine spline wheels will not fit.

There are too many Momo wheels to pick from, but the key is you must have the 0157 hub to make it FIT the older E23.
