discovered i had Verizon employee discount. It's not BMW glass of course, but it's the std heated windshield with the green tint across the top. std web site price was $220-$240. This past tuesday took it to local safelite ofc due to cold weather. wanted it to be inside when they installed it. Only glitch was first windshield had scratch in the black area but installer showed the mgr (without me knowing) and mgr said put in another one. So instead of 1 hr it was 2, but i was pleased. Lifetime warranty (such as it is). would love to have BMW glass, but for this price, i could replace it 3 or 4 times and still be ahead. no air leaks and decent job on the molding.

they come out to your place or u can take it to theirs. I'm sure Binswanger would do a bang-up job, but their quote was $450.
