Subject: A second storm just went through

Last night, about 6 inches fell with an additional 6-12 inches during the day. The county was in another 'state of emergency' which basically tells people to drive at their own risk and not to park on the side of the road. All of the roads were in extremely poor condition. 20 miles per hour in the country, 10 in the city. Others went a little faster, but they slide through intersections. The BMW handled extremely well. I started off in M2 and kept RPMs under 1500 RPM. ABS only came on for a second in parking lots.

The snow wasn't lake effect, but very fine, granular snow; like sand. It was very cold this morning too.

City:

City:

Road parallel to a golf coarse near my home:

Country:

Plow going by in front of my house. As you can see in the lower left corner, there's about 1.5-2' of snow on the railing.

Sorry for the large pictures. I'm using photobucket so I don't use up all of the server space on Bimmerboard and I post the pictures using Auto-Sized, but they still turn out big.

Thanks
Nick
