Subject: CNY winter

In Central New York, a big snow storm (which dumped over 3.5 feet of lake effect over night) just went through. This has been a very mild winter for New Yorkers. Two years ago, the snow was over my head by this time of the year. I don't hate the snow, since it's beautiful to look at, but sometimes we get too much. The main roads are clear, but I live in a very small neighborhood out in the country so the road is extremely sloppy. Definitely not E32 territory. I was very surprised how well the BMW held ground once it got moving.

It's not unusual to wake up and see a foot or two in the driveway.

I took these while driving around the neighborhood.

The banks get higher the farther you go into the neighborhood to my house. Here is the snow bank in front of my house:

I'm sure Shayne and the rest of our Canadian Bimmerboard members think this is nothing :-).
