on the existing ones. If they are less than 30% remaining, I would just change them and enjoy the cleaner wheels. This in such a basic job that if you took it to a non-BMW specialist that charges a reasonable rate it would be a safe bet. I did my sunroof seal and it was easy job, too. Hardest part was getting the adhesive residue off the car. I like to change brake fluid every 2 years. Check the timing belt (serpentine belt) for cracks. Coolant flush due? If spark plugs are original, I like to pull them, not really because it needs them (it might), but to "excercise" the aluminum threads in the head. Steel and aluminum can corrode a bit, so changing the plugs and coating threads with anti-seize is a good thing overall. Fuel and air filter need changing? I will not change my radiator until it leaks or hand grenades. Most guys say they do not suddenly fail, so keep an eye on it. I look under the hood on a regular basis on all my cars anyway. I plan on changing tranny fluid and filter every 50K. Overall, a little PM goes a long way AND the car 'knows' you care and rewards you for it. Thanks for the snow photos. ALSO- The nav cd changer still runs like a top! Thanks again, Steve.
