Subject: Can I put 1982 320i fuel injection on a 1975 2002 M10 in a 1980 320i?

I have a 1980 320i with a carburated 2002 M10 motor from 1975 I believe. The motor is also using a DGAV 32/36 Weber. The original 1.8liter motor blew and this was installed. I found a rough but drives 1982 320i and was considering installing the fuel injection from that motor onto my motor. They are both M10 motors and have that same part numbers for intake manifold gaskets. I think the 2.0 will have better fuel economy and possibly better performance. I currently get 19 mpg on the Highway and sometimes 21 mpg at its best. Yes I think the Weber probally needs some tuning of its own.

Is there any reason I would not be able to do this?
Any points of concern anyone would like to make?
