Hello DFW7 members & friends,

We have a VIP from out of town; Martin of BimmerNav attending our 12/02 meet. Martin graciously demo his Bluetooth phone install on Maje's car (thank you Maje) to everyone last time. Not to mention helping a few DFW7 members with their electronic issues. If you have been thinking about BT setup or have other electrical (navigation, etc) questions contact Martin directly ASAP to arrange the details (parts to purchase, etc.).

We have good, solid commitments so far for the 12/02 meet, some for the lifts, with several veterans DIYer's volunteer to help. Just remember to bring your own tools, and prepare to do the grunt work yourself. If you receive help that day, it would be nice if you can offer help in return immediately, or pick up their lunch bill. Some courtesy and etiquette goes a long way in group DIY meets like this, everyone benefits and gain from this experience. Check BB's Dallas Forum for various updated posts.

If you have some 7 series parts that you think others may be interested in buying off your hand, feel free to bring them with you, but please keep them within your vehicle (not spread out all over Euro Connection). For example, a member (Dave L.) has contacted me wanting to sell his 16" OEM cross spoke setup for around $300. Those interested may want to visit with him on 12/02.

Some people will be working on their cars on the lifts, some at Euro Connection's parking lot. A 30 minute Question and Answer Tech Session is tentatively scheduled for 11:00 AM, hosted by Nino, owner of Euro Connection. Regardless of what model your 7 is, be it E65/E66, E38, E32, or E23; whether you have anything to work on your car that day or not. This is a meet you do not want to miss. It is informative, it is hard to come by, and it is just fun to hang out with other guys that share a similar interest as yours.

We plan on wrapping up the DIY meet sometime after 1:00 PM and have lunch at a nearby restaurant afterward (i.e. quick Group Drive). For the guys that have family, spouse or girlfriend, try to be extra nice to them this Thanksgiving so you'll look good and be "allowed" to attend on 12/02 :-)

Enjoy the drive and have a happy Thanksgivings!

JL
