DFW7 members and friends,

Euro Connection (EC) has agreed to offer its facility to DFW7 for a DIY & Tech Session meet on December 02, Saturday. The lifts will be available from 9:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM. EC has hosted two Technical Q & A meets for DFW7 in 2002 and 2003-1, 2003-2. The difference been that during this meet, members have the opportunity to use the lifts and EC facility and take advantage of experience offered by several DFW7 members well known for their DIY skills. Martin of BimmerNav will be attending the meet, be sure reserve your BT install directly with him early. Nino (shop owner) will assist whenever available, in addition, if necessary; he will hold a 30 minute Q & A. One thing to keep in mind is that if you plan to work on your car, you should bring your own tools.

Please take a moment of your time and reply to me by email; include in your response projects you are interested in doing that day. I do not foresee another like kind meet for DFW7 next year. The only meet planned next year is a return of the popular Winery Tour. After that, we will likely play a participation role in the North American BMWCCA Oktoberfest to be held at Fort Worth, TX in 2007.

Finally, this is an opportunity to benefit a charity. The modest $5 (per hour, per lift, 2 hours max per car, first come first serve) proceeds go directly to Collin County Chidren's Advocacy Center (CCCAC). You don’t pay the fee if you don’t use the lift. The proceeds will be verified by a CPA or neutral third party. If you know of anyone or your company that would be interested in donating to CCCAC, please let them know that DFW7 is hosting this fundraising event. I have already receive $250 commitment from my contacts. Do not feel that you have to donate; it is purely voluntary. Just come and enjoy this very informative meet.
