Hi, this is a cross post from Blackberryforums.com, but I wanted to make sure I reached both audiences. TY

I have been searching and researching a variety of sites looking for the answer to this question: Will my Verizon 7130e (or VZW 8700 if needed) "work" with the optional add-on Bluetooth hands-free system for my 2003, E46, 330i? It seems with what I have found so far, "works" means:

1) As long as you have the latest software for the BB (4.1.xx) then you can pair and send/receive voice calls.

2) transferring the address book as well as having caller id pop up on the BMW display is a uncertainty.

Does anyone have any personal experience? or sites with specific info? Its looking like approx a $600 investment on my part to add the BT system to my car (and its almost 4 years old now) so I'm just trying to estimate the value I will receive. My car is a 6 speed manual, so going hands free will be a major safety and convenience improvement too. Any advice or info much appreciated.
