Subject: My impressions of the wide angle sideview mirror ***THUMBS -UP****

I believe M.Wong was the 1st person I knew that upgraded to the wide angle sideview mirror...since then others have, too. It always sounded like a great idea...but I couldn't see tossing out perfectly good mirrors.

Well, both mirrors on the Touring bit the dust (no longer heated up) and my driver's side mirror started fading around the edges...so I thought it time to bite the bullet and replace them. (and very easy to do...just move the mirror were you can get your fingers underneath and just pull outward...the mirror pops off its mount...PRESTO)

(fading original driver's side mirror)

Here's the new wide angle mirror (on the driver's side)...its a bit strange at first...but then you get used to it and it really does reduce the blind spot that a car can "hide" in near your rear quarter panel...(sorry for the smudges, I thought I got them all)

...and here's the original "convex" mirror on the passenger side...if this one stops heating or starts fading...it's definitely getting replaced with the wide angle variety!
