Subject: we had to carry it with 2 persons in a cardboard box

The "corrosion" on driver's side is mostly superficial, the carpet got wet as the doors are no longer in and we had a Taifun. The big reddish spots are no corrosion, that is the rest of glue.
But you can see the one hole small on driver side without plug and that is corroded.
Actually these holes are there for the painting process when the raw chassis is dipped in big bassins, thru these holes the excess paint flows out and then there is usually a rubber plug.
I have seen also on the German forum such a corrosion where the plug was missing on Holger's car

So better all check if these holes are plugged.

Next weekend (if weather permits) we will remove tank, fuel pumps, suspension, bombs and regulating valve for LAD, trunk lid and that's it.
Engine room is empty now.
Take wants to try to get the rear window out, on the front window we failed, has a big crack now although we bought the special tools.

And the rest goes into the press ;-)
