The last meet we had in Carlsbad was a great time for all, but I would love to see us have more in attendance! I’ve noticed that different groups have multi – day events, Pacific Shark Fest, BMWCCA Oktoberfest and many others! But, no E38 type events, with the exception of a Saturday or Sunday and lunch!

Well, I hope to change that! Upon a suggestion from a close friend (you know who you are Rogue) I am setting up the First Annual SoCal7 – fest! This meet will be a little different than past meets as we will start on a Friday and end on that Sunday! Right now the dates up for decision are January 12 – 14, 2007 or January 19 – 21, 2007.

The where will be announced as I am working out arrangements on rates at a Hotel in San Clemente, CA! An agenda will also be forthcoming but I am needing to know how many may be interested in attending! If there isn’t really any interest, I won’t want to set this up half – assed and will cancel the plans! But I know WE can have a great event that could rival that of the larger clubs!

I am working on setting up a couple of tech sessions to be held at the event and am happy to announce a fellow Bimmer – head and future E38 owner will be joining us for the event and will also be holding a tech event that will blow your mind! He will be posting a self introduction soon, so keep watching this post!!

Needless to say, I am excited about an opportunity for us to get together for more than a couple of hours and to get to know one another as well as share our enthusiasm for our rides!
