We got them here in Australia but not in diesel format. We only had the asthmatic 316, and it was a Bimmer built to a price with a cheaper rear suspension (although supposed to be based on the E46 3 series).

I saw an older one with a 2.8 6cyl in it - would've loved to see how it went.
