Subject: Replacing Vent Lines

I did this job about a month ago, very simple. Remove your rear wheel on the tank filler side. Remove the plastic piece that forms the back of the wheelwell. There should be 3 vent lines clearly visible. Remove the rubber sleave around the filler just bellow the gas cap. Now where the vent lines run into the trunk should be clearly visible. The vent lines run into a vapour tank in the trunk. A fourth line runs from the vapour tank to the charcoal canister in the engine compartment. I replaced these four lines and my gas leak has been gone ever since. The lines required are two different sizes, I think they are 6mm and 8mm inside diameter, but I am not positive. Some people drop the tank to do this job but I didn't. The whole job took about 1 hour, very simple.
