Best - pull of back of seat and cut a little piece. Leatherique will match. Only problem is it matches OEM, not worn. Which is ok. I started with door handle pull which was ugly. Prep carefully and I used a rag with die after a small artist brush for the joints. It looked so good I did the rest. Most BMW is a water based die and lays 1-2mm on top. So, I know sounds weird, but works, sand wet with Special stuff, after cleaning with other stuff 400-600 and watch the dye come off. Black also does magic for steering wheel and shift knob.
