Yes, they really work & easy to install. I did my own install on a 5 series which was more difficult because of the curved light - the headlight and parking light cover is one piece on the 5 but still was fairly easy. I agree with David that everyone should install because the cost of the kit is less than one replacement lens. The film on my foglights has a couple of small divots in it which I don't doubt would have easily brokrn the lens.
