I get around 7-9 in the city and between 15-22 on the highway. If you take the midpoints of each (8 and 18) it is 13. Belive it or not, when I switched from low grade to 93 octane, the car ran better and got better MPG. I don't know the fuel you are using, but you may want to give it a try.
