Dent Wizard was the original leader of PDR in the So. Cal marketplace about 8 years ago. Now there are lots of imitators, but their work was alway conscientious.

I have my cars done regularly (at least once a year, and sometimes twice) because I am so AR (.... retentive) about dents and how they detract from the appearance of the car!

I found a new guy here in LA who does the mobil work for many of the high-end dealers around town (LA). Found him by kibitzing with the service writer who was happy to share his card. My new PDR guy charges $80 per panel (that means 3 dents in the same panel = $80). My experience with other PDR guys is that they charge for the initial dent (about $100) and then some fee for the remainder (ranging from $25 to $40). They DO NOT usually charge for any dent they cannot remove.

Experience is DIFFINITELY the key. A good PDR guy will usually have some well-known, high-end dealers as clients. This is good because, they get lots of practice, AND the dealers won't be patient with beginners who just bought the tools off of eBay. Some will usually negotiate because they LOVE referrals, and in my case, if they are good, I have a list of friends who line-up for my referrals because they know I'm such a stickler for quality workmanship.

Hope that helps!.....(sorry for the long post, but I'm tryin' to win David C's contest for a free keychain!!)

Best,
Allan
