Yes, it is receiving these signals. Both the ABS and even the ASC works fine. I think it's a bit cool with an E30 with ASC. This might be out of place in a race car, but personally I think it is OK to have it in place due to Norway's constant changing weather conditions and the massive low-end torque of this engine. Of course it is possible to shut it off:)
I have even kept the cruise-control for longer trips. My right knee is in a pretty bad condition from time to time, so it is very nice to have SOME kind of comfort. The ASC and cruis-control does not add any weight to this very light car (1120kg dry weight).
