Front bumper bracing has probably changed as well. On the back, you have a new trunklid and different inboard taillights. Rear corner taillights look similar, but I think those got changed too. You could change out the rear bumper if you wanted the overhaul to be completely authentic, but it looks like the older bumper would work, depending on what the inner bracing looked like (MIGHT have different attaching points which would then necessitate a bumper cover swap or heavily modifying the existing bracing and inside of the rear bumper).

You didn't mark the interior shots on which was the 2005 and 2006, but my guess is that the 2006 models got the bigger screens (they're certainly different). Plus I heard that I-Drive got reworked for 2006, necessitating who knows what electronics and modules swapped.

IMHO, you'd be better off just buying or trading in for a 2006. It's a lot less expensive and whole lot less work, even if you factor in the one-year's worth of depreciation that the 2005's have been hit with so far.
