Subject: tips on renewing the rotor arm and plug wires please

this is a UK 732i so no US smog gear on motor. To cure a stumble on pulling away from rest and a tendency to misfire slightly on the throttle overrun the PO fitted a new dizzy cap and plugs. this improved matters a lot. I think it will be a good idea to renew the rotor and maybe plug wires too. the dizzy cap looks awkward to remove as it sits very close to the rad etc. are the motronic caps easy to remove and reinstall?

is renewing the plug wires easy to do? I guess you must remove the air cleaner box first to gain access?
