Subject: Just installed Motorola bluetooth kit

I couldn't justify spending $700 on a vehicle specific kit for a car that is 8 years old - So I got the Motorola IHF1000. It doesn't pair the phonebook from the phone so you don't get the phone numbers displaying on the MID, but you can store voice tagged #'s in the unit and it also announces the phone numbers of incoming calls - you can also speak the number you want it to call.

For a tidy look I installed the control buttons in the roll up compartment rather than sticking it on the dash. Everything else fit under the armrest and I tied into the vehicles wiring so sound comes through the speakers and the radio mutes when the phone is activated or rings with an incoming call.

So far I'm pretty happy with it, I spent paid $190 delivered for this and it will work in any future car.
