Well this spring we will track the car a bit. Haley is more of a competative driver than me. I don't know what kinda times it will run yet, but we expect a little over 500hp and it weighs 2250lbs. POwer to weight - say 525 hp and 2250lbs = would be .233333. That puts it in league with or better than most production cars, but that's just on paper.

Realistically I'm sure many cars with a poorer ratio would be better able to get the power to the ground due to more modern suspension and other factors that a factory budget helps a lot with :) I would expect in a straight line to beat a new vette up to about 170mph but he could run from us in a slalom and at 170 I don't know what would happen to this car aerodynamically.
Our car started out looking not so accurate, looking like any other Alpha1 (there were around 100 of them I think). There's one on ebay currently and while it looks neet and is inspired by the GTO, it's certainly not very accurate. That's why we did so many modifications to the body. Most of the replica GTO's out there are simply not very accurate.
Here's a before and after shot of the front of the car showing some of the changes we did to make it more accurate.
