can give great results. The bumpers are an anodized aluminum, but the anodizing is not a thick coating. Some have gone through the steps of the sand paper scale from 80-220 all the way up to 2000. The more you remove of the surface the more a chance of having to keep it polished as it can remove the anodizing.

The other method is the kit advertised in the roundel that provides a video showing the steps and using a similar method I think.
