Subject: Not a good ending... broke it.

Well, now that the glass is out, I can see that you have to rotate the white nylon ring in order to "open up" the "rivets" that secure the ring (back of the glass) to the motor. I see this now that I broke the glass. Yep, broke it with the horizontal motor adjustment nylon gear slide. I'm not happy at all.

I have taken some good photos and will generate a "how to" article. It's the least I can do now. I have to say that I too find this design less than "BMW"...borderline GM!
