I wasn't really planning on having that many pics, or I guess I didn't realize it WOULD be that many. But if you mention to somebody about tearing the covers off your seats, they look at you like your crazy (anyone call me a crazy bastard when they were reading it???). I figured if I took enough pics, and described all the ins and outs of it - people would feel more comfortable doing it themselves. I didn't want the post to say - look I installed heated seats and have 3 pics. That wouldn't do anybody any good, so thats why it ended up so long. In order for people to be comfortable, lots of pics are required saying "this is how I did it - see??"

As far as retrofitting the active seats - I looked on www.REALOEM.com at the seats, and it would require the bladders and the pumps which equal big $$$$, plus you would have to get the switch plate (I didn't see individual switches listed for it). But for the installation, I don't think it would be much different installing the heating elements

Besides - I removed and installed the tranny by myself without a hoist, I hope I could handle pulling the covers off the seats :)
