I've got a small thought to add since I also did the "cable from the rear seat to the rear console under the carpet trick": what I did was to use the existing bundle of wires & pull the slack back towards the rear seat. I attached heavy twine like string to the bundle & pulled from the rear of the console area while pushing from the rear seat area & lifting the carpet all at the same time. I tried the coat hanger trick & just couldn't get it to feed all the way thru since it kinda takes a 90 degree turn going from the rear seat heading towards the rear of the console. I ended up running cat5 cable thru there.
